- Welcome to the first episode of a brand new show on FBE
that is based on the trend of people uploading various videos
on endless loops. - Oh, god.
- (FBE) The new show is called "How Long Can You Watch?"
- (laughs) Are you kidding?!
- So, am I watching something for as long as I can?
- (FBE) So, instead of only playing the 10-hour long version
of one of these, we're gonna have it just go on forever
and see which one of you can last the longest.
- Ooh. So, the competition piece makes it a little bit different.
- (FBE) How do you think this is going to go?
- I have no patience. - I'm not leaving here.
You're gonna be like, "When will she leave?
When will she stop?" Never.
- I expect this entire show to be a lot of commitment,
and that's my specialty is committing to really stupid jokes,
so I'm gonna be here the entire time.
- (FBE) We are also taking away your phone.
- Oh! - (FBE) So you have no distractions.
- Nothing to-- okay. Bye, phone.
- I just like feeling it. Do you want my keys, too?
Just take everything from me.
- (FBE) And we are not going to be in the room.
- Oh, great. - (FBE) So, take your final looks
around the room, because we will be stepping out
in a moment, and as soon as the video starts,
the challenge is on, and we'll record the time.
- Just admiring you guys before you leave.
- I just wanna take one last look at fellow humans right now.
Oh, god! What the-- what was that?!
What are you guys doing?!
- Goodbye. Oh, no! (laughs) I don't wanna be alone!

- I had a dream about He-Man not too long ago, so...
That sounded really creepy. (chuckles)

- (raspy) ♪ And I try ♪ - (laughs)

I can't wait till it loops and then I could listen
to that guy just say "Myah"! Myah!
- ♪ I said hey ♪ - (sings along) ♪ What's going on? ♪
Oh, it's a birb. (surprised) Oh-wah, it's a woman.
- ♪ Hey, yeah, yeah yeah, yeah ♪

- (laughs) This is hilarious and bizarre.
- (laughs) [Bleep], I'm taking my shoes off.

- Is it just this? Oh, [bleep] god, it is.
- And it starts again. Oh my god! This was just one time!

Okay. See, I'm gonna try to learn the song
so that I can have something to do.

- I will definitely have this song stuck in my head

- Such an interesting... concept. (chuckles)

I don't know this cartoon.

- I don't have any mood-altering substances
to help with this.
- (Michelle and villain) And he prays!
(sings along) ♪ Oh my god, do I pray ♪
♪ I pray every single day ♪ - (Michelle and Ashby) Myah!
- (sings along) ♪ Yeah, yeah ♪ Bird pops up somewhere.
Bird girl. She's around here.
(sings along) ♪ What's going on? ♪
There she is! And she's a she now.
- ♪ And I say ♪ - I'm gonna slowly go insane
during this challenge, not from the song
but just being left alone in a dark room.
- ♪ My god, do I try ♪ - It doesn't stop! (laughs)
- (Michelle and villain) And he prays!
- I'm losing my [bleep] [bleep].
- ♪ I pray every single day ♪ - (Michelle and villain) Myah!
- This has a feeling of early parenthood
when you're just in a loop of really inane,
mundane repetitive motion at all times,
watching, like, "Teletubbies," which is way more torturous than this.
I'll be honest. - ♪ Yeah! ♪
♪ And so I cry sometimes ♪ - (whispers) Five.
- ♪ To get it all out ♪ ♪ What's in my head ♪
- I'm gonna try to cycle this 20 times at least.
I don't have the patience for that. Nope.
- I don't know everybody's names, so we're gonna give 'em names.
We got He-Man.
And then the cat. What can we call the cat?
I can't remember the name of it. We'll call him, uh...
Lionel. That's too much like ThunderCats, but I don't care.
- All right.
- (villain) Myah! - Yeah! (laughs)
Now I have nothing left to look forward to.
- Chef! Chef Bobby! (chuckles)
- ♪ What's going on? ♪ ♪ Yeah! ♪
- Here we go. Winding back up!
- (sings along) ♪ ...breath and I get real high ♪
- ♪ And I scream from the top... ♪ - I'm yawning. (yawns)
Excuse me.
(money rustling) - I'll give someone $10
if they just come in here and then fake the footage
to make it look like I lasted for a day.
- (raspy) ♪ And I try ♪ - ♪ Oh my god do I try ♪
- $10! Just for one producer to say that I lasted the entire time.
- ♪ Hey, yeah yeah, yeah, yeah ♪
- I'd be interested to see how long this stays in my brain now
after watching it so many times over and over.
Does it become a part of your permanent memory?
- ♪ To get it all out ♪
♪ What's in my head ♪ - What if I leave the room
and everything is dark and all the lights are off
and everybody just leaves? Then I'll be the only one
in this building, and I might die.
Did she take my phone? Let's take a look!
They said no distractions.
(gasps) It's gone! - ♪ And I say ♪

- (Michelle) Ah! There's a door! What?!
- (FBE) You lost. - What happened?!
- (FBE) You lost. (chuckles) - Wait! What do you mean?!
- (FBE) You got up. (stamp click)
- (villain) And he prays! - That's my favorite part.
I know I shouldn't have a favorite part,
but that's my favorite part. - (villain) Myah!
- (Ashby and Eric) Myah! - (Eric speaks gibberish)
- Chef Bobby! You give me-- you, like,
give me a little boost every time.
- I'm getting tired. (laughs) It's been, like, two minutes.
I'm getting tired. (sings along) ♪ And I ♪
Okay, I can do this. I'm just yawning a lot,
and I need to stop yawning. Stop, stop, stop, stop!
- One Mississippi. Two Mississippi.
- ♪ Hey, yeah, yeah ♪ See, now I'm finally--
I'm loosening up. - Seven Mississippi.
Eight Mississippi.
(tape fast-forwarding) - Chef Bobby! (chuckles)
I'm not even, like, paying attention half the time now.

- (sings along) ♪ I said hey ♪ Que pasa?
Maybe I can translate it to Spanish.
(clears throat)
(sings along) ♪ Hey, yeah, yeah ♪
(speaking Spanish)
- (inhales deeply) 53 Mississippi.

- Bobby! (chuckles) The chef. Can I come in there with you?
(laughs)

- (raspy) ♪ And I try ♪ - Oh, that gremlin,
he's so trying. - ♪ Oh my god, do I try ♪
- God, he's so trying. - ♪ I try... ♪

100 Mississippi. - (villain) Myah!
- ♪ Revolution ♪ - Here it comes.
Here comes the drop! - ♪ And I say ♪

- (laughs) He's so happy. - ♪ I said hey ♪
- What's going on? - ♪ What's going... ♪
- All right. It's just a little... This is the ninth one.
We're going on 10, just to update you.
(tape fast-forwarding)
- The only reason I'm gonna leave is 'cause I have to pay my rent
in, like, 10 minutes. (laughs) So, I have to leave.
(tape fast-forwarding) - I feel like I should
add a challenge to myself in this, like...
- ♪ What's in my head ♪ ♪ And I ♪
♪ Feeling a little peculiar ♪
- He does have some good dance moves, really.
- I feel like this is an endurance competition
on "Big Brother" or something. How long can you sit
in a room by yourself and watch this video
over and over and over again?
- ♪ And so I cry sometimes ♪ - I'm gonna have to pee eventually.
- ♪ To get it all out ♪ ♪ What's in my... ♪
- No one's listening. - ♪ Yeah ♪
- I really wonder how long this is. - ♪ ...a little peculiar ♪
- Okay, I'm gonna count the seconds for the next run.
- All right. - ♪ And I step outside
- I'm about ready to leave. - ...prays!

Myah! Dammit, I missed it!
- (Tom and villain) Myah!
- I've gone insane! (sings along) ♪ And I say ♪
♪ Hey hey hey ♪ Okay, I'm done. I'm done.
(stamp clicks)
- All right. I think I'm gonna just stand up.
I'm watching. I'm totally watching.
I'm just stretching. I'm trying the dance moves.
- ♪ ...feeling a little peculiar ♪
♪ ...all the time ♪ - He really tries all the time.
This is my favorite part, so I'm gonna sit back
and watch it. It's so good.
- (villain) And he prays! - He prays!
- (Eric and Brittany) ♪ Oh my god, do I pray ♪
- One one-thousand, two one-thousand,
three one-thousand, four one-thousand,
five one-thousand, six one-thousand,
seven one-thousand, eight. (inhales)
20, 21, 22, 23.
So, it's approximately two minutes and 23 seconds each.
Approximately, 'cause there are some times where I counted
too fast and/or slow, so... (clicks tongue)

- At this point, I've seen it like 1,000 times.
It's been going on for DAYS. I've been here since yesterday.
- I wonder if I'm gonna have withdrawal
when it's not playing anymore. Not the chef, though!
He keeps going.

- I'm gonna see if I have anything in my pockets to play with.
(wrapper crinkling) - (villain) And he prays!
- I have a candy wrapper.
Nothing. Every day.
- ♪ Revolution ♪ - Oh, god.
- ♪ And I say ♪ - (Trudi and Eric) ♪ Hey, yeah,
yeah, yeah, yeah ♪ ♪ Yeah, yeah, yeah ♪
- ♪ I said hey ♪ - The shoulders again.
Could you do it one more time? Perfect.

- Homeboy's very muscular. - ♪ Oh my god, do I pray ♪
- Like, his shoulders are cut and his little bicep or tricep
or whatever, his cheeks, his jawline.
(tape fast-forwarding)
- I think that's probably the only thing that's hard about this
is not knowing the time. - ♪ I said hey ♪
- Like, not knowing how long it's been.
- (yawns) Ah, you're making me tired now.
You're making me really sleepy.
- ♪ And I say ♪ - Believe it or not,
it took me this long to start to get bored.
Now I'm getting a little bored. The whole plot line here
is getting a tiny bit predictable.
(tape fast-forwarding)
- Is this how people lose brain cells? (chuckles)
Just watching something like this over and over again.
By the end of it, I'll have won,
but I might be not as smart.
(tape fast-forwarding)
- It's hitting me hard. I'm so tired.
I can't e-- I feel like I can't even make faces.
I can't be like... 'cause I just look so tired,
because there's a whole ass half watermelon.
What am I saying?
I'm going crazy. I'm actually going crazy.

That's like cats. It's like cats screaming.
That's what my voice sounds like in my own headphones.

- Hmm. I wish I could guess how long I've been here.
- (villain) And he prays! - I just have no idea. No idea.
I feel like I wanna say a half hour, but that's very short, I think...

that I've watched it. Am I at an hour?
No.
45 minutes.
I don't know.
(scoffs) Guys, I don't know how long I've been here.
- All right. This has been feeling very fun
and very fresh for a long period of time now, but I'm starting
to get bored. So...
I'm gonna bail soon. - ♪ What's going on? ♪
♪ Yeah! ♪ - 'Cause this is a test.
It's only a test. And there is free will.
We all have free will.

I'm so sleepy.

(door opens) - What?!
Oh my god! (laughs) - (FBE) So, we actually lied to you.
This actually had a time limit, and you won!
- That can't be it! Oh, that was amazing!
- Oh my god!! I did it!! Oh my god!! I did it!!
- WOOO! (headphones clatter)
Oh my god! I'm never coming back here.
- I literally thought to myself, "I could do maybe one more round
before I lose my mind and kill somebody."
- (FBE) So, you lost at 12 minutes and therefore lost.
So, you lasted 28 minutes and therefore lost.
- Ah, yeah.
- (FBE) The full video was 90 minutes long.
- Oh, really?! I could've done that easy!
- (FBE) So, you lasted 90 minutes. That video was about 90 minutes,
an hour and a half. - Are you serious? (laughs)
- (FBE) Yeah. - Holy cow.
- Oh my... god! What is wrong with me? (laughs)
- That was an hour and a half? It felt like I was here FOREVER.
- I wasn't gonna leave. If this was a 12-hour challenge,
I would've stayed in this room, and I don't like that fact!
- (FBE) So, the idea of uploading something
usually for 10 hours or more on loop has been a viral trend
for a while now... - Yeah.
- (FBE) ...with some users commenting on how long they themselves lasted.
Why do you think this is a thing that people enjoy to do?
- Well, it's kind of testing your willpower.
- There's this innate necessity to wanna test the boundaries
of human limitations and this is the most stupid form of that possible.
- It's a challenge you know you can win
if you just sit down and do it.
You know what would be a really good one?
♪ Never gonna give you up ♪ Just on repeat.
That would be such a solid troll
and then just an hour and a half of that. Imagine?
