Candice Brown might want to open an EastEnd style pub but expect some Michelin style fayre after she spent two days on work experience at The Coach in Marlow
The 2016 Bake Off Winner is planning to open her own pub with her family later this month and got some menu ideas from some hands on experience at the Tom Kerridge Michelin starred restaurant
The 34-year-old revealed to the Mirror last month that she was living her dream of beocming a pub landlady after buying a pub
She said: "We just bought a pub, which is incredible, it's in Eversholt, Bedfordshire, it's called The Green Man
"So that's having a refurb at the moment. We're getting lots of different bits and pieces done, we're doing recipe development
I'll be doing a bit of everything." It will be a good old fashioned pub, good pub grub, warming and hearty

" It's a happy turn after an awkward start to the year for the baking talent. The Mirror reported that on New Year's Day, cake fans watched as Candice Brown returned to the iconic tent for a very special episode of the show

But, not one to be beaten by online trolls, Candice hit back at the cruel comments - some of which included violent threats
One mean message sent to the star saw someone proclaim: "If I ever meet Candice from Bake Off, I promise to smack those pouty lips off her face
" Instead of sending a scathing response, Candice opted to kill the hater with kindness, writing: "You do? Then I look forward to that and I will also ask you what shade you are wearing in your profile pic as you look great!" Read More Top showbiz stories
