these are five steps I'm taking today to
reach my goals in 2019 what is up
everyone welcome back to my youtube
channel hope you're all having an
amazing day in this video like I just
said I'm going to be telling you the
five steps I'm taking in 2019 the five
steps I'm taking today to reach my goals
in 2019 now if you're new to my channel
welcome I make videos about making money
online and business videos and
entrepreneur videos entrepreneurship
type of videos if you're coming back to

into it the first thing I'm doing today
is removing all distractions such as
Instagram and like TV movies reading the
news or watching the news any anything
like that so mainly who's instagram you
guys would be surprised if you went into
your phone into settings and go on like
battery usage and you see how many hours
a week you spent on instagram or the
news or watching or if you just track
how much like time you spend watching
movies or TV shows that I mean it's just
hours I like there's people that go on
Instagram for you know they spend five
hours a day on Instagram some people
spend six I've seen as high as like
eight to nine hours on Instagram um so
and that's a day a day
so I eliminated Instagram I deleted it
off my phone I'm not going on there
anymore
just for the sake of you know I'm taking
back my time my time is my most valuable
asset is something you can never take
back so I'm very cautious with what I do
with my
and that is number one so number two is
making powerful and meaningful business
connections right so in business I'm
sure you guys have heard it's not what
you know it's who you know and that is
true to an extent but connections are so
powerful and meaningful in business and
that is what I'm doing today so I am
networking with other like like-minded
people like myself who try to push
themselves further every day and try to
build an empire so that they can build
wealth not just for themselves but
further for their children for their
families and and they they try to make a
positive impact in the world and so I
tried to connect with people like that
who have the same mentality as me and
and also who other business owners right
if they own a business and I could learn
something from them or I can teach them
something about social media about how
they can implement like websites or
social media strategies to grow their
business I'm always looking to help
people so that's number two number three
is building a team for my business so I
don't think I've ever mentioned it
before on my channel but I run a social
media marketing agency I'm sure you guys
have like seen other people on YouTube
talked about this and they're always
like making videos about you know you
can make you can get businesses to pay
you anywhere from one thousand to five
thousand to ten thousand dollars a month
to manage your social media I don't do
so much of Management I focus on paid
traffic so that is what my business is
really focusing on and so today and for
2019 for me to achieve my goal
I am building a team so building you
know a sales team a closing team two
close clients also like finding the
right people to run and manage my my
clients Facebook ads so that I can
deliver amazing results and I also have
to be able to understand every aspect of
what they're doing right not just
understand it but also have experience
doing it so with the sales team I have
experience doing that because before I
build a team I'm doing all these parts
on my own right so right so a few weeks
ago before I actually had people on my
team I had to do the sales part the
outreach and then I had to close the
client on the call on board them you
know provide all the customer service
manage their campaigns for them and do
all the reporting and so now I'm
delegating these off to other people to
different parts of my team so that I can
have more time for myself and focus on
you know providing even better results
for my clients or providing a better
experience for them so that is number
three on my list
number four is I'm guarding my time like
I've like I never have before so this
kind of relates to number one but number
one was more towards the social media
side of things like Instagram and and
news and other junk other like social
media junk that people just consume
hours on and every single day number
four which is guarding my time this is
more towards who do I spend my time with
on a daily basis right how many how many
hours today that I spend with my friends
how many hours today that I spent on my
business how many hours that I spend in
school how many you know how much time
that I spend doing homework
and which one of these have been more
productive this week that I spent too
much time with my friends right in which
I barely do you know or okay did I spend
you know how can I make my commute more
effective more efficient instead of just
driving I might as well listen to a
podcast about business about marketing
about entrepreneurship or I can you know
rehearse my sales my sales rebuttals or
objection handling you know makes making
my time more productive right and even
when I'm if I'm sitting in class and I
just can't seem to pay attention like
bad day right instead of just sitting
there what can I do I can rehearse
you know rehearse my sales scripts I can
go over the ads manager on my laptop to
make sure everything is running smoothly
I can do more outreach not necessarily
through calling through cold calling
through referrals but I can you know I
reach through Facebook through emailing
so guarding my time more than I ever
have before right being very particular
about who I spend my time with because
the people is hanging around with and
the people you spend the most amount of
time with the people who have the most
influence and in your life
are the people that you will become so
don't hang around losers don't hang
around people that don't think like you
because they won't bring you up they
will uplift you right they won't get you
to where you want to be I always say if
if you look if you're looking at that
guy and you're saying I want to be like
him I want to have what he has I want to
have the business success that he has in
his business don't spend your time with
your friends who go out and party every
night or go out and just chill all right
go and figure out a way that you can
that you can
be mentored by that person who has what
you want right so it's a very like
simple simple just concept I'm not I
mean it's it's common sense if if
somebody has what you want
go to them and ask them how did you get
this what do I have to do to what do I
have to do to get get what you have
right or can you mentor me on like
business so that I can have the same
like the same size business that you
have so I can have the same success
right success leaves clues replicate
what works therefore that's my number
four guard my time should be very
particular about where my time is spent
on fifth last thing is hired a mentor so
I hired a mentor just just like I
mentioned in number four look at someone
who has what you want and go and talk to
them how can you mentor me how can you
teach me so I have the same success as
you so that's what I'm doing this year I
have you the mentor who his business is
at a higher level than it that - and
therefore he is teaching me everything
that is it will be useful for me to take
my business up to that similar level and
once let's say he's here let's say he's
making 20k a month right and I'm down
here once I reached that level there's
no way he can help me anymore right so
like I said don't hang around with
people lower than you right or and be
very careful about who you hang around
with people on the same level as you
always try to look for people that are
hired on a higher level because they can
teach you more so once once he's at 20k
once I reach that mark there's no way
that he will be able
to help me grow further because he
hasn't done it himself right so then I
find a mentor who has grown their
business to 50k a month or $100,000 a
month and I paid them to mentor me right
and even if I pay them like three
thousand three thousand four thousand
dollars a month to mentor me it'll still
be worth it because they'll help me grow
to that level as well so this year I
hired a mentor
yes hired it's not for free right I mean
if you're making 20k a month your time
is valuable extremely valuable so even
if you're making 5k a month in your
business your time is extremely valuable
because duh because you're you're just
starting in your business that's when
you need to put in the most amount of
time in the most amount of effort if
just just so you can kick-start in so
