hello and welcome to another episode of my 100 day to prosperity challenge
journey thank you for joining me today my name is Timesha
I am so glad that you're here with me today and what we have been talking
about is affiliate marketing tips and tricks to help the beginner or the
person that is not making the money that they want to make giving them the
opportunities to basically make money so I'm giving you the tips and tricks to
help you be successful in the affiliate marketing niche or digital marketing
online marketing network marketing whatever you want to call it today that
is where I lie that's where my heart is I am a teacher I'm a teacher by trade
right now but I'm also a teacher at heart so I believe in giving out
information and helping others be successful so that's why I'm here to
help you be successful as well as show you my journey and so that you can be
excited about your own ok so we have been going through the process of
affiliate marketing starting from the beginning with choosing your niche
researching your niche choosing your ideal target market and researching that
we've also been talking about your affiliate link and how to put that out
there in the best possible light YouTube is another way to do that but also you
can do this through funnels is what we talked about at first and now we're
talking about the actual website and it's good to have and do both so we're
gonna get right into it today we're going to talk about the two websites
that are basically the Mac Daddy websites as far as affiliate marketing
and what to use and if you know you're going to create a business that you
probably need to start with these okay one is a little cheaper than the other
and but one is a little better as far as tools than the other as well so it's up
to you what if you want to start with and work with
one of them you can totally build out your whole business and you don't have
to worry about switching to another the other one you may have to switch just
depending on you know what your goals and dreams and visions are for your
business so without further ado let's get started okay so the first one we're
going to talk about is Squarespace so Squarespace has a personal and a
business account so you can start businesses from all sizes if you pay the
actual yearly amount you can pay $18 a month for the whole year well not for
the yeah $18 a month for the whole year so what is the 80 well 20 times 12 is
240 so what is that it's a little a little less than - a little more than
270 a year for this plan so it's a little cheaper and one thing I do like
about this is it gives you free well not free because you're paying for it but it
gives you unlimited bandwidth and storage so you can get as much you can
get your site up quickly and you know as any affiliate marketer as any business
person period when you're promoting something you want your website to come
up quickly and you want it to you know not take any time because the longer it
takes the quicker people lose interest and the more people want to click off of
it so you want to make sure that you have enough bandwidth and if you're
promoting something or you know putting up blogs that are video blogs then you
want to make sure that you have a lot of storage and you know I'm personal big
fan of that because you know that's what I do and do blogs so I want to have
something that I can host my videos on and this is a great platform to do it
because it will host my it will store my stuff and still come up quick so that's
an awesome thing it is good for mobile devices so cell
phones tablets iPads great it gives you metrics you also get a free custom
domain so you don't have to have you know Squarespace in your domain which
does not look professional it has support and it also gives you free not
free because you're paying for it but you get $100 and Google ads credits you
also can connect your email with Google which is also a great great thing
because you most people have a gmail account so it will start it will look
professional of you to have a actual email coming from the G suite so great
things you can promote with pop-ups you can also have the opportunity to build
an online store with Squarespace so you get a lot of bang for your buck
unfortunately unless you're building a go online store you actually have to pay
a 3% transaction fee for any thing that you sell through your website if it's
not the online store you also get that mobile information bar so you get a bar
at the end of the screen so people don't have to see your pop-ups or promotions
in the middle and it takes away from your content you can just get like a
free instant alert at the bottom or on the sides of the screen so people can
actually see it and you get premium integrations and the announcement bar
which is goes for your website so this is good it also has fully integrated
stores which goes up into $40 a month for per year which is 46 if you do more
month-to-month so forty dollars a month times 12 four times 12 that's $480 a
month so that's significantly higher but if you're not worried about a store
which you know I'm not really worried about a store but if you're if you're
not worried about more than this website will work well
and all you have to do is hook it up to your funnel builder and whatever thing
that you're promoting can go through your funnel that way you don't have to
even have money coming off of your website but if you want to they also
have options for that all right the next thing that you can get in which is the
mack daddy of all of them is wordpress and wordpress has been around for years
I mean I remember when I first got into affiliate marketing way back sometime in
the early 2000s on WordPress was the go-to website builder so if you have not
heard of WordPress it is the mack daddy of them all it you can start off with a
free one and the thing about WordPress is wherever you build your website at
all you have to do is transfer it over to a different package plan or bundle
and you can keep all of that hard work that you put into it still from your
same domain and just pay more and so it's great for expansion it's great for
you know your pockets your wallets you can start in the plan that you can
afford and just build up from there so let's talk about what they offer they
offer in all the ones but the free one you get a free domain for one year
you also get things this jetpack essentials is for like security so let
me make sure so it speeds up your site performance but it also secures against
spammers and it also gives you a high SEO so you get email and live chat
support so if you want to talk to somebody immediately that's a great
thing or if you just want to email somebody you know talk to somebody
that's fine too whatever you're into you also get all of these custom themes so
for $25 a month you get the premium themes plus you get the plugins and you
get load things so I know that fiber also if
you don't want to pay for the premium things you can find someone on Fiverr to
actually upload your actual theme that you want on your website and you don't
have to pay for the thing you just pay them to do the back work so that's good
and it comes out a lot cheaper for you that way too you could get a design
customization like I said unlimited storage this one has 13 gigabytes of
storage which isn't bad to start off with I see myself going over that fairly
quickly but so unlimited storage is probably where I would lean to simple
payments meaning that if you want somebody to pay for something
immediately all you have to do is you know there's a little link the PayPal
link and you can just put that on whatever thing that you're promoting and
they can just pay for PayPal and you don't have to do you know any kind of
merchant accounts or anything like that so that's a simple way to actually
promote your products if you are the one that's getting paid directly for them of
course if it's an affiliate link then you have to go through that whole
process of you know sending them to a funnel probably be the best way but if
you are hosting a course or ebook or something anything on your own website
then this probably be the best way to get paid for it
monetizing your site so and I think this is cool if you advertise through the
words add their words at program you also get money for anytime somebody you
know engages with your website so that's cool you know you don't have to just
rely on SEO and Google and traffic and all that other stuff if anybody engages
with your website you can get money to your website all right and then you get
SEO tools you get live you can attend courses that tell you how to work to
WordPress accounts and you get Google Analytics at the top level
which basically tells you about your visitors who's coming who's going who's
putting stuff in their cart who's not who's watching all of your videos and
how much of the video are they watching what is you know the most watched video
or page on your website so those analytics will help you in making your
website better and making your business better and that is always a great thing
okay and event and of course you don't want WordPress all over your stuff so
you can with the business account you can't eliminate all of the wordpress.com
branding okay so WordPress is probably going to be the
one for me but you know you have to think about your business and what's
best for you and how you want to run your business and research is key you
know it's not all about money it's all about the tools and the things that they
are offering you and what you want your company to do what you want for your
business if you want this to be long term you need to think long term if you
are just trying out the waters then that's scary because generally if you're
kind of iffy you don't put your whole heart in it and you aren't getting you
won't get all of the success that you will want but if you are trying to do
that I mean you're free to do that then some of the cheaper options may be
better off for you so though this is the review of basically the high macdaddy
