Let's jump into the content. Youtube is the 2nd largest search engine next to Google. People are searching tons of videos daily for entertainment, education, business or simply just killing time. So, if your business is in Youtube, you have a major advantage from your competitors. Or should you just wish to be a lifestyle entrepreneur, making money by uploading videos about anything you want, then Youtube is the best place to be. So how to start your Youtube channel, here are 5 simple steps. Step 1. Decide what your channel will be Before you start your Youtube channel, you need to decide what content or videos you want to upload. Make sure that these contents are something that you are passionate and interested in so that you can follow through and be consistent in making them. The good thing with Youtube is that you can build any channel with almost about anything. It can be about travel, gadgets, cosmetics, business, pranks, cartoons, or even share your lifestyle. Step 2. Choose short and a memorable Channel name Your Youtube account is basically the same as your Google account. If you already have a Gmail account (which majority have) then it is the same with your Youtube account. If you don't have one, just simply create one. It's free! Then, if you want your channel to grow big, your name should something be easy and memorable. You don't want people saying: "I learn a lot from a Youtube video, but uhmmm.. I forgot what channel that was." Just in case your current username is not working, you can simply change it later. Step 3: Work on your content Now you have your own Youtube channel, it's time to work on your content. You need to discover your own unique style and find topics that resonate with your audience. The first few videos may not be very engaging yet. But as time passes and by posting regularly, you'll discover what topics your audience wants, what topics they want you to elaborate more on and you'll also discover brand new content ideas requested in the comments section. The important thing is consistency. What's the word? consistency Also, make sure your videos are fun, entertaining, educational or engaging. Don't make your videos too long and make sure your audience won't get bored. Step 4: Upgrade your content Continuously upgrade your content by investing in better equipment, better mic, camera or editing software. Investing back in your channel proves that you are a serious in making it big in Youtube. The more serious people see you, the more support they will give you. Also, listen to your audience feedback, and create content that they request, answer their questions and create better content that they really want. This will point out that you are not just blindly posting videos, but creating and uploading videos that matter to your audience most. Step 5: Monetize your Account Once you reach a certain number of audience, you can now start monetizing your channel. One of the easiest ways to earn in Youtube is via Google advertisements. The requirements, you need to have at least 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 hours of watch time. And setup your Google Adsense account to get paid.
